Boiler Simulator Pirotubular

This is an educational application for the training of students in fire-tube boiler systems and rectification columns. The tool consists of two parts: application of multimedia content and fire-tube boiler.

At the Student Module, the application allows the customer training in the management and maintenance of all equipment and integrated processes in steam production system through fire-tube boilers, in an enjoyable and intuitive way, and in a simulation environment that faithfully reproduces SCADA control systems currently used in the industry.

On the other hand, it allows the instructor to perform continuous monitoring of student learning through the use of configuration tools included in the Teacher Module of the application, such as the creation of courses, studentprofile management, exam preparation and interactive practice, outcome assessment, real-time testing performance monitoring or reproduction of them in offline mode, together with the incorporation of trinning suppot documentation, etc. The whole training process is oriented to obtaining professional certification on Industrial Boilers Operator, issued by the Ministry of Industry.

Mathematical models that run under the simulator has been developed through collaborative projects with the University.
