Elimco participates in a congress on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle technology (UAV) and offers a demonstration flight

ELIMCO participates as a silver membership in RED-UAS congress, first “International Congress on Research, Development and Education of Unmanned Aerial Systems”, organized by Catec and the Superior College of Engineers of the University of Seville.
The Congress brings together experts, researchers and scientists from universities and research and technology world's most advanced lines working in R & D & I systems and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), between them ELIMCO has representation in it. Moreover, one of our aircraft, E300 model, gave a flight demonstration as part of the program. 
Organized by Catec and University of Seville's Robotic, Vision and Control Group, this congress is a forum for debate concerning scientific works related to Unmanned Systems and its main technological applications, one of the areas of greatest projection  in the aerospace industry nowadays.
The Minister for Economy, Innovation and Science, Antonio Avila, who has opened the workshop, has stressed that the development of the aerospace industry Andalusian “is going to have much link with initiatives such as this, which leave from the technological development and the work within our borders”.
Avila, who has announced that the Advanced Center of Aerospace Technologies (CATEC), driven by the Andalusian Autonomous Government, will coordinate a new European project on systems and robots applied to the aerospace sector and, in particular, to the unmanned aerial systems, which he considers “a field with significant potential for development”.
UAS applications
Unmanned Systems (UAS) or unmanned aerial vehicles are aircrafts which have a flight capacity without human intervention, avoiding the risk inherent in the manned flights in hostile environments, flight conditions with low visibility or, in general, with adverse weather conditions.
Among its applications include natural disaster management, forest fire fighting,  inspection of facilities and buildings, collection of meteorological and environmental data, cinematography, digital mapping for civil engineering or carrying out flights in aggressive environments, of low visibility or adverse weather condition.
