Elimco becomes a preferred supplier for the electric control units of Airbus Military's programs

18/02/2013

Also, it has been done with another contract, in partnership with the French company Atis, for the Reworks Electrical Centre (REC), the centre that is responsible for the repairs and modifications of the electrical harnesses of the aircraft. Specifically, Elimco will cover the night shift at this workshop. These are two important projects for the company, specially taking into account that this year will begin the process of ram-up of the A400M program, in which it is hoped that the chain of production of this aircraft reaches the full performance.

The company has given a new impulse to its activity in the sector after separating its aeronautics division and after creating Elimco Aerospace, new subsidiary of the Group which brings together all the activities and services that Elimco develops for the aerospace industry. With this strategy the company seeks to promote one of their main business areas – which represents greater prospects for the growth in the coming years-, providing flexibility and stability. Elimco Aerospace closed 2012 with a turnover around 17 millions of euros and a staff of 140 employees.

Currently the aeronautical sector represents 25% of the global turnover of Elimco.
